I own a 15 year old Fender P bass with original single coil split pick ups. Pick up screws mounted on the edge where your thumb would normally rest. Placing my thumb on the pick would always bother me after playing a short while. The thumb Finn was an easy non evasive product which I placed on the pick guard & only took seconds to mount with the small suction cups that were attached to the Finn Thumb rest. Comfortable design, multiple colors to choose from & easty to remove to make adjustments. Over all I really like the product & only reason I gave it 4 stars was due to the price $20.00 each. But I would still purchase it again. Because of its ease to mount, comfortable to rest your thumb & that it won’t scratch or blemish your guitar.
I am so happy with my thumfin! I primarily got it for my musicman to anchor my playing in front of the pickup and achieve a warmer tone and it allows me to do exactly that. Tried a couple of positions before I was happy but being able to move it is a real bonus. Just an excellent bit of kit. Highly recommended. Customer service was first class.
I love my thumb fin! What’s really cool is it’s removable and I can use it on all of my basses without drilling holes!
